Nine heat settings and a timer that runs up to 12 hours give real control over temperature, rather than the single hot or off switch found on cheaper throws. Steady state heat technology holds the level you choose, which uses less energy than warming a whole room to reach the same comfort.
Safety is handled at the hardware level with ETL certification and built in overheat protection, and the 6.56 foot cord reaches from a couch, a bed or a desk without an extension. At 50 by 60 inches the throw covers one adult fully or two people seated.
